Blog #7 3/1/19
Hi, Hey, Hello, and howdy partner We’ve decided to move on with the project without the restore networks approval. So that’s pretty lit. I just sent the email to Mr. Newell so i give you a little preview. Dear Mr. Nwell, My name is Brian Pearson, and i’m partners with Gannon Meyer and Melvin Hodge for our 20 times project in Mr. Carlson 2nd hour Honors English 1. As you probably know the 20 times project we must do a project that benefits our community so we decided to raise awareness and donations for foster homes. We feel that it’s a very important issue somebody needs to address. We were hoping to set up a donation table in the commons the first 2 weeks in April for people to donate various objects (we will make a list of items to donate). We will then donate to foster homes. We are hoping you’re on board with this Idea. Please respond back with your response. If you have any questions please email me back at [email protected]. Thank you. Sincerely, Brian Pearson So that’s the email we hopefully will get a response over spring break. If we get approval we will set up the booth the first 2 weeks of April to donate. Thank you for reading this blog and good day partner Sincerely, Brian

Hi, Hey, Hello, and howdy partner The restorn network has still not emailed us back after this point we have decided to move on with the project since we don't technically need their approval. So we are currently working on our elevator pitch that we are presenting to the class on tuesday. We have also finally decided on a tema name which is team safehouse. Here is a copy of your elevator pitch for you to read. “Hello there, my name is (Name), I’m part of team SafeHouse, and our goal is to provide supplies for foster homes. Foster homes are important, but there are times when they don’t get the best funding. So we have set out to raise awareness of how people like you can donate to them. One way students at our school can donate is a donation table we’re going to set up during lunch. We hope to have it set up by late February to early March, and we encourage students to donate, and research for themselves other unique ways they can help. Through this we hope to encourage all to help foster children.” Next we are going to email our principal to see if we can set up our table during lunch for donations and we are also going to be providing more information on why donating and why it’s a important cause to support. We are still debating the idea of the scavenger hunt Idea to go alobg with it but we still have a bit of time to decide. We hope that you can support this cause. Thank you for reading this blog and good day partner Sincerely, Brian Blog #5 1/11/19
Hi, Hey, Hello, and howdy partner We are still waiting on the email back from the restore network on what to do with our project so we have decided to move on, somany send a email reminding them or something like that. We are also considering talking to our principal on setting up a table during lunch in the commons for people to donate goods to us so we can donate them to the restore network also we will work on a flyer so we can tell people what we are collecting for. We also will ask him on if he could announce it during the announcements so people can actual know we are doing it. Gannon is working on that email to send to him. After that we will hopefully get approval on both people so we can move in with our project and get her done because we want to succeed. So times are slow with the project just waiting on the approval from both people. Sincerly, Brian Pearson Hi, Hey, Hello, and Howdy Partner
It’s a new year with our project and a new blog post. This blog post is special because it’s the new years i’m doing a Resolution blog to reflect on what we have done so far and what we plan to do. So let's get started. We started with taking 2 weeks just to figure out what our project was. Also It took us a month to decode how we were going to communicate with the restore network. So far my role has been to communicate with the people of the restore network. Our original idea was to go to the foster kids houses on there birthday and deliver them. Right now we are waiting in a response from the company so we can move forward on our project. Now our project is now to give the care packages to the Restore network and then they give the packages to the kids. Right now our goal for April 30 is to give at least 2 care packages to the restore network so they can hand it off to the kids. We also have to find a way to get money for the care packages because without the money there will be no care packages to deliver and we will have no project which will result in a bad grade. Thank you for reading this blog and good day partner Sincerely, Brian Hi, Hey, Hello, and Howdy Partner Were back at it again with the boys Melvin ang Gannon. First off we have a change in plans. Our Original plans were to call the Restore network to tell them about our project but we couldn't find time to do it so we I’ am going to send an email instead. Here is a rough draft of the email. Dear restore network, Our names are Brian, Melvin, and Gannon. We are students that attend Civic Memorial HIgh School. For our Honours English Class we have to do a 20 time project which is a project where we do something that benefits our community, so we decided to do our project with your network. We were thinking on your company to select individuals and we are going to send packages of various items to them. We would like to know what you think of this idea and if you have any question. Lets us now by emailing (email you don't need to know) Thank you for reading and hopefully replying to us and have a good day. That is our email plan and we are just waiting on a replay to move forward on our project. Thank you for reading the blog and good day partner Sincerely, Brian ‘
Blog #2 11/19/18 Hi, Hey, Hello, and Howdy Partner Were back at it again with you boy Brian and i’m with Gannon and Melvin on our 20 times project. You already know what the projects is so I'm going to jump right into telling you what I’m doing this week. I was not able to get into contact with the lady of the restore network face to face so we are instead going to attempt to make a phone call with them. We are currently working on a script for the phone call so we don't mess it up. And will be trying to get as far as we can with the network. Our project plan is still the same but I see that adjustments will be need to make in the future but it’s going well right now we are jusr waitong to make the phone call so after the phone call we hope to not have our plan changed and adveanced into the next stage of our project so we can get her done son! Thaank you for reading my blog and go ckeck out the Melvin and Gannon’s blog to get more information. Thank you for reading the blog and good day partner Sincerely, Brian (a.k.a sauce boi) Hi, Hey, Hello, and Howdy Partner My name is Brian, i’m working with the buds Melvin and Gannon for our 20 times project. Our project id to help the kids in foster care by giving them packages o’ care. The point of this project is that foster care can be a rough time in a child’s time and it's better to support them. The reason of use doing this project is that it directly supports our community at our age. There are 425 foster kids in our County. This is also a personal thing because I know several foster families and kids. And it would be great to do something about it. I personally know the person who runs the restore network and they will help us out. “A great cause it is indeed.” - Yoda. This week we plan to contact the person who runs the restore network and to see what they need to support the children and what we can do to benefit them. Also we are going to work on the logistics of the care packages and how to find the money for them. Which right now the money thing is the biggest issue because we do not know where said money is coming form. Thank you for reading the blog and good day partner. Sincerely, Brian. |
