Brian is still talking to different people about our project, trying to figure out how this is going to work. Hopefully this works and by December or January we will be able to send off stuff to a foster home in need.
We aren't making much progress, as expected with our second post, but eventually we'll figure something out, even if we end up changing our project. Hopefully we don't but if things continue at this rate it might come to it. You might wanna check out Gannon and Brian's blogs to get a different view on things. I'm sure Gannon has something witty on his blog. To refresh you on what we hope to do, we hope to contact some foster homes, and ask what types of supplies they could use, some toys or something like that for the kids in the home, buy them, and send them over. This isn't looking like the easiest thing to pull off. Gannon has very high hopes but I have my doubts, and it seems Brian agrees. Mel

Hello Hello Hello!
And welcome, to my lovey blog. I am Melvin and this will be where I write my blogs pertaining to our project. Our project is simple, we plan to deliver materials to foster homes to help kids in need, who might be having a rough time. We feel that this is necessary as, not many people really know or care for foster homes. We hope that through our website blogs, and our efforts offline, we can bring awareness, and truly help the homes. Our first idea/step is to make contact with a foster home. Brian knows someone who works with foster homes that might help. We plan to ask for a list of supplies or something of the sort, and gather them for the home. We will probably do this 3 or 4 times if possible, but right now our biggest concern is actually figuring out who we would contact. After this we'll gather the supplies the homes may need, and deliver them in a timely manner. We will take pictures before we give the supplies over, and post them on our blogs. Our blogs, or mine at least, will mainly consist of planing, pictures of what we've done, and waiting to hear back from people, as well as what we plan to gather for them. |
