Hey howdy hey, we are back and with some good news.
So it’s been several weeks since our last update, but we’ve made some progress even though we’ve had very little time to work together as a group. We decided that trying to contact the forsater care company was starting to become a waste of our precise time and Brian says that it would be no big deal, since it’s his church he says that they take open donations and that we could just drop off our’s whenever we want. In our case we will drop them off once we get start to collect them. I decided to google different kinds of stuff that foster families can use and made a few different lists for our “Scavenger Hunt”. The main idea for the hunt is that if you donate two items from each list you'll be given a small bag of candy and entered into a raffle to win a $15 to $20 gift card to DQ. For more information please check the "Scavenger Hunt" page, as seen above. We’ve sent an email to our school princlebile to an “ok” so that we can set up a donation table for the first two weeks of April. I am very confident that people will take interest in donating to a local cause and if not, people like candy so there that. This project has been very slow to pull off, but I am sure that this will bring in some donations. Even if we don’t get a extreme amount of items I still think this will be considered a success I hope to be able to report great findings in the near future. Have a lovely day, and remember to smile and wave. - Gannon
